Host Your Own Screening:

So you’d like to host a screening of REFUGE? Fantastic! We’re here to help you with the process, so here’s some information to get you started on planning your event. REFUGE is a great resource for civic and dialogue groups, religious and interfaith communities, human rights and reconciliation organizations, history and social studies classrooms, diversity and tolerance trainings, youth clubs, leadership councils, and more.

As a one-hour feature-length documentary, REFUGE includes eyewitness testimony spanning 75 years from before, during, and after the Holocaust. This is achieved through intimate one-on-one interviews with Selfhelp Home’s residents and founders – themselves Holocaust survivors and refugees – as well as archival footage and interviews with historians. For a more detailed description of the film, please click here.

The film’s director, Ethan Bensinger, may be available for a Q&A session following your screening of the film. If you’re interested in inviting Ethan for a Q&A and/or screening of REFUGE, we ask that you fill out and submit the form below in order to let us know about your organization, your needs, and any of your questions, and we’ll get back to you with more information.

REFUGE is available for screening on DVD. Thank you for your interest in our film!
